Nine year old Kiki Garcia’s debut children’s book delivers a delightful story of friends going spear fishing for Walleye in the Lake Superior area – an exercise of their treaty rights as members of the Migizi (Bald Eagle) Clan. Garcia uses the story to educate her audience about Ojibwe culture and traditions by inviting us along on this trip, the same trip that Garcia takes with her father.
