Story Line Book-Clubs Introductory Meeting

March 26 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join us for an introductory meeting to learn about Story Line Books’ new book clubs! If you can’t make it, no worries, feel free to join us at any of the monthly clubs detailed below! Registered attendees receive 10% off of the next month’s book, so make sure you register in advance of the meetings!

NONFICTION:

What: All books nonfiction, about a variety of topics with an emphasis on books about or related to current events or heritage celebrations.

When: First Wednesday of each month, starting May 7!

100 ESSENTIAL NOVELS:

What: Work through the 100 Essential Novels with us (list here). Pick up your own scratch-off poster to collect them all!

When: Second Wednesday of every month, starting April 9 (We’re starting with The Great Gatsby to celebrate its 100th anniversary!)

STAFF PICKS/GENRE FICTION

What: Staff favorites, mostly selected from the ranks of the genre fiction (romance, thriller, mystery, science fiction, dystopia, or fantasy!) because that’s what we like.

When: Third Wednesday of each month, starting April 16th

CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE

What: What we jokingly refer to as “Oscar-bait,” this club will focus on new or near-new fiction novels/literature, particularly those books exploring themes of topical interest or by marginalized authors.

When: Fourth Wednesday of each month, starting April 23th.
